Custom PEG Solutions for Complex Therapeutics

Gannet BioChem leverages more than 30 years of history as a leader in polyethylene glycol (PEG) reagents

Improve the performance of your drug substance with PEGylation

PEGylation has proven over time that it can improve how drugs work. It can be used in many different ways, including with biologics, small molecules, peptides, and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). Today, there are more than 80 FDA-approved PEGylated drugs. Because of this success, the need for dependable and new PEG reagents keeps growing.

What is PEGylation?

PEGylation is like giving a medicine a raincoat. The “raincoat” is made of a special material called PEG (polyethylene glycol). When a drug wears this coat, it’s better protected inside the body. That protection helps the medicine last longer, spread more evenly, and sometimes cause fewer side effects. That’s why scientists use PEGylation in lots of medicines, including some cancer treatments.

Your Trusted Partner in PEG Innovation

Our founders were some of the first to identify the potential of PEGylation to unlock performance in small molecule and biologic drugs through bioavailability enhancement, reduced immunogenicity, optimized pharmacokinetics, and improved stability.

Agility for Early Development

Gannet BioChem is your partner for small-scale PEG reagent production, purpose-built for research and early-stage clinical trials. Our expert process development team gives you the flexibility to move fast and adapt as your molecule evolves.

Strength at Scale

When it’s time to move from clinical development to full commercial production, Gannet BioChem delivers the scale, reliability, and expertise you need. Our large-scale PEG manufacturing is built to meet the most demanding production requirements.
