John Ward, Director, Human Resources, is a senior HR leader with nearly two decades of leadership experience spanning biotechnology, manufacturing, food production, and government contracting industries. Known for integrating strategic vision with practical execution, John has led high-impact initiatives in talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, labor relations, and compliance across complex, multi-site environments. In his current role, he oversees enterprise-wide HR strategy, workforce planning, policy development, and leadership coaching. His previous roles with Norris Cylinder, Wayne-Sanderson Farms, Nektar Therapeutics, and Tyonek Native Corporation included directing HR teams, optimizing HR systems, guiding culture and performance programs, and partnering closely with executives to strengthen organizational capability.
John holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Strayer University, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Development and HR Management from the University of North Alabama, and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. He also maintains advanced HR credentials from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), including his SPHR, SHRM-SCP, and PHRca certifications.
